Say hello to Christian Poets Society performing at Room at the Cross Church located at 1432 West 87th Street in Chicago. Performances are held the 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays of every month from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Christian Poets Society is an organization who believe in lifting up the name of Jesus and promoting positive lyrics as well as accentuating the gifts of song, poetry, dance and gospel-hip-hop.

The Christian Poets Society may be a new organization, but many of the members are veterans at their craft.

The Christian Poets Society does in your face type gospel poetry--it's not for the timid! They tackle incest, drug addiction, masturbation, infidelity, laziness, bench Christians, etc;. "When we tell the truth we only have to answer to God: this is our motto."
