My heart bled when you defiled our
bed
Though we were both stressed, people have died for
less
Now our marriage is a mess
I can't believe you listened to what someone else
said
Through life we all have tests
But you got all up in my chest
One second was all it took for me to display my
"manliness"
(After jail, our marriage has been hell)
Verbal wounds so deep, you would think there was
blood shed
Now when I see you, all I see is red!
We said, "For better or for worse"
How did we end up in reverse?
The blessing of marriage is now a curse
I see you as beings polluted and perverse
I once was happy that you gave birth
And made sure money was in your purse
Every Sunday we went to church
But now when I see you... in her arms
Any second I think I'll burst!!!
(God please take away the hurt)
I remember when, with me , "she" used to flirt
And bring our kids desert
All that camouflaged her dirt
All the time she had her eye under your skirt!
I know how to compete against another man
But for me, this is a first
I grew up playing doctor, but no one warned me
To look out for the nurse!
